We recommend beginning the application process the fall before you would like to enroll your child. Below are the steps to becoming a CPS family:

We offer several open houses each enrollment season so that parents and caregivers can tour the school, see classes in session, and learn first-hand what makes CPS so special. At the end of the open house, you will get an application packet.
Along with the application we provide, we ask you to include a teacher recommendation and academic records (if applicable for the grade to which your child is applying ).
PLAY DATE or CLASSROOM VISIT
Pre-K and Kindergarten prospects will attend a Saturday play date to allow our faculty to observe how your student interacts with peers, participates in classroom activities, and follows classroom expectations. Some first through fourth grade applicants will be invited to spend time in one of our classrooms in lieu of a play date.
Whenever possible, the family interview will be scheduled at the same time as your child’s play date or classroom visit. We use this time to get to know your child and family and to answer questions you may have about Community Partnership School.
SUBMIT FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION
CPS raises the majority of our students’ tuition through private donors. Still, each family is required to invest what they are able to their students’ academic experience. A financial aid application will be included in your application packet. We also ask that you include your most recent tax return, if applicable.
We will notify you by mail of our admission decision after April 1. Please note that because of space limitations, not all qualified applicants will be granted admission.
