Scholarship Tax Credit Programs

Businesses and well-qualified individuals can support scholarships at CPS through the Pennsylvania Educational Tax Credit program!

For Individuals
Estimate your PA tax liability for a two-year period.

Community Partnership School partners with numerous special purpose entities (SPE) who are granted two-year tax credits from the State of Pennsylvania. Donors make a financial contribution to the SPE, which is then granted to CPS, or other scholarship organizations, as student scholarships.

The Special Purpose Entity (SPE) issues the necessary documentation to claim a tax credit for 90% of your contribution.

File your PA taxes and receive a credit, reducing your state taxes!

For Businesses
Corporations apply directly to the State of Pennsylvania to receive two-year tax credits designated to one of the scholarship programs (OSTC, EITC-SO, EITC-EIO, or EITC PreK). New applications are due July 1, renewal applications are due May 15.

Those companies who are awarded tax credits make charitable contributions to CPS or other approved scholarship organizations, equal to the amount of their tax credit allocation.

The Scholarship Organization issues the necessary documentation to file with the state to receive the full tax credit!
